Saluting the valour and sacrifices of political prisoners languishing in different jails in state and outside state Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui has said on the directions from New Delhi state authorities have unleashed a reign of terror inside the jails particularly in Central Jail Srinagar which has been turned into a worst torture centre.

Where not only political prisoners are being harassed and shifted to different jails in Jammu but their families are being made to suffer immensely. Terming the shifting of life imprisonment prisoners like Dr. Muhammad Qasim, Dr. Shafi Shariati, Muhammad Ayub Dar, Muhammad Ayub Mir, Nazir Ahmad Sheikh and scores of others to different jails in Jammu as worst kind of state terrorism and political vendetta Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui said that New Delhi and their loyals here should remind this fact that these prisoners are not an accidental lot who can be cowed down by such cowardly majors but heros of our nation who have spent their half of lives in different jails in Jammu Kashmir and outside and sacrificed a lot for the genuine cause of freedom.

They are associated with the Freedom struggle with full sincerity, seriousness and devotion. Hence making them target for whatever purposes is no way going to make them budge from their resolve to stand firm against the occupation and no amount of repressive majors could compel these heros to surrender their determination towards the cause of freedom.(KNO)
